The customer must be aged 17 or over and hold a provisional or full driving licence that is valid for the UK. A licence check code must be given for insurance purposes. Any points or driving bans accrued since starting to learn to drive, must be declared to the driving instructor where another licence check code may be required.
Payment must be paid 48 hours in advance of the lesson either by bank transfer, or cash in car of £39 per hour.
A week's notice will be given if there is a price increase in the hourly lesson rate. 48 hours notice is required to cancel the lesson, otherwise the customer will still be charged.
If the customer is deemed to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol, the lesson will be terminated, and the customer will be charged for the lesson. It is the customers responsibility to check that any prescribed drugs will not affect the ability to drive.
Sensible footwear (no sliders, flip-flops or platform shoes) must be worn during the lesson, or the lesson may be terminated and the customer will be charged for the lesson.
If the training car has a mechanical failure before the lesson, the customer will be notified as soon as possible, and the lesson rearranged until the car is fixed. If the mechanical failure occurs during the lesson the remaining time outstanding on the lesson will be credited back to the customer or rolled over to the following lesson.
The customer is responsible for giving the correct pick up and drop off address before the lesson.
The driving test will not be taken in the training vehicle unless the customer is regarded as being ready for test.
